The Larona Team
Thandi Mvakali
Ms Mvakali is a Director of Larona, a company that offers services in Talent Management, Leadership Design and Development. She also delivers training and facilitates coaching in Emotional Intelligence. She has extensive experience providing psychometric and leadership assessments, leadership development, team effectiveness and facilitation, mentoring and talent management services since 2000. She has offered services to clients in the financial services, government, telecommunications, rail, logistics, oil & gas industries. Having lived and worked in multiple countries such as South Africa, United States, Zambia Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania and Rwanda, Thandi applied her skills across multiple cultures. Prior to becoming a consultant, Thandi fulfilled various roles in the corporate environments in the Human Capital Development and Wellness space.
Current Role: Thandi Mvakali is a Director at Larona, she is involved as faculty, coach, therapist and undertakes some training design and delivery assignments.
Lillian Mautsana
Mrs Maustana is an ambitious, assertive and analytical individual who is highly passionate about people. She possesses accumulated experience in Administration, being an Office Manager, facilitating Competency assessments, and is emotionally intelligent with excellent communication skills with people at different levels. She has the ability to analyse and interpret situations and determine the best way of working through motivation, mentorship, collaboration, coaching, training, and engagement, and is always open to learning.
Current Role: Mrs Mautsana currently serves as an Office Manager, Programme and Project Coordinator, as well as a facilitator at Larona Consulting. She’s involved in coaching, training on emotional intelligence, team cohesion and organisational climate, as well as employee assistance programs.
Nhlamulo Marilela
Nhlamulo is psychometrist at Larona Consulting. She is a dedicated, tenacious, and curious individual who is motivated by a desire to grow and become a knowledgeable professional within her field. She obtained a degree in Bachelor of Arts (General) and BSocSci Honours in Psychology at the University of Pretoria. After deliberating her future in psychology and trying to find her place in the industry, she undertook a practical psychometry course with UJ where she placed at Larona Consulting for practical experience. Her work there has exposed her to various aspects of the assessment process, working with emotional intelligence and has been involved with projects involving team cohesion and organizational climate.
Current Role: Nhlamulo currently works as an in-house psychometrist at Larona where her main responsibilities involve evaluating suitable assessment batteries for various positions, administering, and scoring assessments appropriately, as well as compiling integrated reports based on the assessments complete.
